House & Leisure featuring Hu Art (June 2013)

Making a “green dream” come true, was exactly what B&V Architects had in mind while designing this beautiful
“green home”. Hu Art Construction, being the main contractor, enjoyed this challenge of building an environmentally friendly home, being aware of the surroundings while still keeping in mind that the normal luxuries are still needed.

“Green Home” featured on Top Billing – built by Hu Art

Situated in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, the house is designed to have as little impact on the stunning surrounding environment as possible. With it’s timber cladding, long oak bar and open plan living, Hu Art Construction (the main contractor) brought this project to life with their attention to detail. This perfectly formed, small beach hideaway is a series of experiences where the central focus always returns to the breath taking vistas of the mountain, sea and dunes.

Betty’s Bay Holiday House featured in House and Leisure – built by Hu Art

Building this modern, open spaced dream holiday destination designed by Sarah Calburn Architects came with it’s own set of challenges – from building on a rocky outcrop in Betty’s Bay, to casting concrete columns that will not only support the home and swimming pool, but also the roof garden. Featured beautifully in the House and Leisure, this house is one of the many building projects that we have completed in the Overstrand area.
